Knit Wash Cloth Pattern
Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned knitter, you’ll love busying your hands with these sweet little reusable washcloths. They make a great first-time knitting project for beginners and are an equally satisfying in-between project for old-timers. Years ago, when we first tried going zero-waste, I made large washcloths (9” x 9”) to replace disposable paper towels and napkins and smaller ones (4” x 4”) as a swap for disposable makeup remover pads and facial rounds. Depending on which size you make, you could also use them as potholders, trivets, baby wipes, or coasters. If you plan to use them for washing your face or removing makeup, you may want to choose a darker shade of yarn to hide stains. To prevent shrinking, I recommend hanging them to line dry.
